Plein Air Outing - October2021

The October Plein Air event at the Lost Oak Winery was lovely. There were oil painters, water colorists, and sketchers all enjoying the scenery and fantastic weather. The venue was welcoming and our group sampled a charcuterie board at a seating area under the trees creekside. It was very relaxing. We also had the company of Steve Miller, our March presenter on plein air painting. Steve set up on a sand bar in the creek and knocked off a nice oil painting of the trees over the water. We had other visitors interested in our art and we may have picked up some new members!

Many thanks to Rose Lewis who was the coordinator for this outing. She scouted the place, made the arrangements, and provided us with snacks and bottled water. Kudos, Rose!
